It’s almost time for the 74th Annual Louisiana Peach Festival! This year the festival is FREE the entire day, including the evening concert. We can’t wait, and since there is so much to enjoy, we thought we’d share the top 5 must-do things for this Peach Festival season:
During the Peach Festival season, local restaurants love to get involved by creating unique peach dishes and drinks to celebrate. During the week leading up to the festival you can find lots of specials going on that will get you in the peachy mood before the festival on June 1st! Find the full menu here!
This year the Peach Festival Parade is back! At 10:00 a.m. you can enjoy watching the floats that have been created by community businesses and participants. Grab a spot on the route, and catch candy and goodies from the floats that will be decorated in a “Just a Little Peachy Lagniappe” theme.
The Peach Art Market features artists and makers who will be selling their handcrafted items. You will find jewelry, artwork, gifts, and so much more! This is the perfect place to buy one of a kind gifts for your loved ones or decor for your own home. The vendors at the Art Market will be there from 9am-5pm.
Peach fest is a fun event for all ages! Bring your kids to W Mississippi Ave. to enjoy free, hands-on art activities and crafts provided by community organizations from 9am-5pm. There will also be interactive performances and demonstrations on the Kids Alley stage from 10am-5pm.
There is an incredible entertainment lineup this year for 12+ hours of musical talent to be heard on the Railroad Park stage! You don’t want to miss all the excitement so check out the lineup schedule here. And be sure to attend the FREE evening concert featuring the headliner…The Band of Heathens!
