If you are a history buff, the North LA Military Museum is your place. This museum features an extensive collection of war relics and memorabilia that just about anyone can appreciate. Although the museum is totally free, we highly recommend giving a donation to keep it in good shape.

Located on Grambling State University’s campus, the Eddie G. Robinson Museum provides an immersive look at the life of Grambling football legend, Eddie G. Robinson. This museum is full of interactive exhibits, fun facts, and history about one of collegiate football’s most winningest coaches.
Make your way to any of the area’s many parks to enjoy some time in nature. Hideaway Park, Cook Park, and Huckleberry Trails Park are a few of our favorites, but you can find a full list of parks here.
Grab your crew and a camera and go on a hunt to find all of the Ruston murals. Most of them are within walking distance of each other in Ruston’s historic downtown, so you can enjoy all that Downtown Ruston has to offer while you’re hunting.
If exercise is your thing, then tie up your sneakers and make your way to the Rock Island Greenway. Get some strength training in at the fitness court after you finish running, walking, or biking!
