Let the kids blow off some steam by playing on the massive playground, fly a kite in the open fields, have a picnic, swim in the beach area, fish the streams or ponds, bring a nature classification book and let mother nature be their teacher for a day. The options are as limitless as the space around them, so let the kids explore!
Whether you are biking one of the top-ranked biking trails in the nation or traversing 1, 5, or 10 of the nearly 20 miles of hiking trails available, there is top-notch outdoor entertainment for everyone hidden within the sprawling 270-acre park. Find the trails on the AllTrails App or ask for a map at the gate.
The lake, pond, and streams of the Lincoln Parish Park hold different types of fish. But the most common type to catch is bream, which is perfect for a beginner fisherman or lady. There are also bass and catfish as well. Bring a pole, hook, and bobber, and stop by the Chevron on HWY 33 about a mile and a half south of the Park for bait!
