The holidays are here and happening in Ruston and Lincoln Parish, so we have created a must-attend list for this year's holiday season! 

Holidays in Cedartown: November 10-12

Join us at the Ruston Civic Center for the holiday shopping market of your dreams. Holidays in Cedartown is a one-stop shop with the perfect assortment of vendors to complete all of your holiday shopping needs!

Holiday Open House: November 17

Get a head start on your Christmas shopping as shops in Historic Downtown Ruston offer a night of extended store hours and special holiday sales. This is a one-night-only event, and we can guarantee you won’t want to miss these deals!

Christmas Stroll & Holiday Makers Market: November 26

Join Ruston Art Encounter and NCLAC as they host a one-of-a-kind Christmas experience in Historic Downtown Ruston. The festivities provide fun for the whole family including music, culinary arts, performing arts, and a Christmas tree lighting.

Kickoff to Christmas: November 26

Don’t leave Downtown just yet! Following the Christmas Stroll, Downton Ruston is hosting their annual Kickoff to Christmas. Here, there will be festive activities, holiday tunes, a tree lighting ceremony, AND a special visit from Santa!

RCT Presents: ELF: December 1-4

What better way to get in the holiday spirit than seeing your favorite elf LIVE with the whole family!? Tickets go on sale 11/17, so head here to join Ruston Community Theatre for their rendition of Elf the Musical. 

Lincoln Lights Up The Pines: December 1-3

Pack up your family and a thermos of hot chocolate and head out to Lincoln Parish Park to see a unique take on a light show. This drive-thru light show will feature campers of all shapes and sized decked out in the holiday spirit and other light displays for all to enjoy! Admission is $10 per car or $20 for a bus.

Holiday Sip-n-Stroll: December 8

Need to knock a few more things off of your Christmas list? Sip and shop your way through downtown at your favorite local businesses again on December 8th where you can find exclusive deals and shop after hours.

Cookies with Santa: December 10

The holiday magic will come to life when Santa makes an early stop in Ruston. Bring the kids to Railroad Park on December 10th to decorate cookies, drink hot chocolate and visit with Santa!

Ruston Christmas Parade: December 17

It's that time of year! The Ruston Christmas Parade is back again and we are so excited! Bring your family and friends to enjoy this kick-off to the Christmas season. Parade starts at 10 AM! While you're Downtown, also take a look at our local shops and restaurants and get the perfect gift for the holidays.

Christmas Movie Series at the Dixie: December 19-23

Twas' the week before Christmas and the Dixie Theater is celebrating all week long with a series of Christmas movies for the whole family. The whole week approaching Christmas, the Dixie will be showing a different movie that is sure to get even the Grinch in the holiday spirit! Admission is $5 per person for each movie. Tickets go on sale on 12/6.
