Spring Markers Fair 2017

Celebrate the arts culture of North Louisiana at the Ruston Makers Fair in Downtown Ruston! Shop works from local artists, designers and makers of all kinds. Items include original paintings, wood workings, ceramics, custom screen-printed shirts, and much more! Also on site are food trucks, live music and activities for kids.

Ruston, LA: Amazing place to live, learn, and play

Home of Louisiana Tech University, the small city of Ruston can be considered a college town. There’s a lot more to it, though. The 260-acre Lincoln Parish Park is one of the premiere mountain biking destinations in the region, with around 11 miles of single-track riding for all levels. There are also lots of opportunities for walking, camping, and fishing in the park.

Ruston Railroad Festival

Experience a full day of celebrating the area's rich arts and music culture in downtown Ruston. Kicking off the event is the Ruston Makers Fair with works from local makers and artists, demos, live music, food trucks, and more at the Historic Fire Station and Sexton Lot. In the evening, make your way to Railroad Park for more delicious Louisiana cuisine, drinks, and live music all night on the Railroad Park stage! Railroad Fest is family-friendly! Ruston From Above

Located in North Louisiana between Shreveport and Monroe, Ruston and Lincoln Parish is known for its thriving college-town atmosphere, an 18-block historic downtown district and the incredibly sweet peaches grown here. The area is home to Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech University, and boasts a variety of specialty shops and delicious restaurants. Come explore Ruston's many arts, outdoors and historic attractions, such as the Louisiana Military Museum and the Eddie G. Robinson Museum, and take part in one of our events and festivals.

Rock the Railroad

Stop by Rock the Railroad to celebrate the LA Tech football season! The Ruston Community will be celebrating with food trucks, cold drinks, and extended shopping hours! Rock the Railroad begins in the evening with live music and a pep rally with Champ and LA Tech spirit groups. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and encouraged! Enjoy dining and shopping downtown as well to catch the Tech Bar Bop Band making appearances!

ArtoberFest 2017

Hosted by the North Central Louisiana Arts Council, this beer tasting fundraiser combines tasty home-brewed and commercial beers, local musicians, food trucks and great company.
