Experience Ruston Named 2024 Ruston-Lincoln Business of the Year

Experience Ruston (Ruston Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau) has been named the 2024 Business of the Year by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. The award will be presented to the Experience Ruston team at the Chamber Awards Banquet on Thursday, February 6, at the Ruston Civic Center.

2024 was a transformative year for Experience Ruston, marked by the launch of a new destination website, the creation of a Director of Destination Sales position, co-hosting a record-breaking Louisiana Peach Festival, and driving an increase in occupancy tax revenue. The organization also advanced its mission by completing grant projects, fostering new partnerships, expanding programming, and hosting diverse events. These efforts further established Ruston and Lincoln Parish as a thriving tourism destination.

Carrier credited strong community partnerships and her team’s dedication for the organization’s success, emphasizing the vital role of the local business community. “Ruston and Lincoln Parish’s hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions define the visitor experience, making this area the vibrant destination it is today,” she said.
