Homecoming is one of our very favorite weekends here in Louisiana's College Town.

It’s a special time of year when students, alumni, locals, and fans from all over come together to watch the Bulldogs take the field. This year, you can enjoy an extra special experience in Ruston as we this is the Bulldogs first homecoming game back in the Sun Belt Conference. While you’re in Ruston for the game, we want you to make the most out of your trip by adding in flavorful meals, memorable events, downtown specials, and cultural experiences.

Pre-Homecoming Activities

Mon Oct. 19 - Sat Oct. 24 - Bulldog Shop & Stroll. Multiple downtown stores will have special deals all week long to celebrate the LA Tech Homecoming!

Tues Oct. 20: Step Show – 7:00p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center
Wed Oct. 21: Luke McCown & UMC Worship - 7p.m. at Railroad Park Stage

THURSDAY, OCT. 22

12:00 p.m. – Alumni Awards Luncheon – Davison Athletics Complex
6:00 p.m. – Homecoming Parade – Route TBD
6:30 p.m. – Pep Rally – Thomas Assembly Center steps, immediately following parade
7:00 p.m. – Tech R Treat & Tech Madness – Argent Pavilion & Parking Lot
7:15 p.m. – Homecoming Fireworks – Argent Pavilion & Parking Lot, immediately following pep rally

FRIDAY, OCT. 23

10:00 a.m. – Golden Society Breakfast – Davison Athletics Complex
5:00 p.m. – Young Alumni Reception – The ROPP Center
6:00 p.m. – Wine Walk – Downtown Ruston

Homecoming game day is always a busy one. We've included gameday highlights below:

8:00 a.m. – ANS 5K – LA Tech Campus
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. – Ruston Farmers Market – 220 E Mississippi Ave
4:00p.m. – Tailgating – Argent Pavilion & Parking Lot
4:45p.m. – Walk of Pride – Joe Aillet Stadium
5:30p.m. – Tech Trolley Shuttle

This free shuttle service runs continuously beginning 2 hours prior to kickoff and runs until 1 hour after the game ends. Pickup: Railroad Park or W. Mississippi @Everett, Dropoff: South side of Joe Aillet Stadium

7:00p.m. – Bulldog Football VS Old Dominion – Joe Aillet Stadium

Gameday Hacks

Avoid the parking hassle! Take the free Tech Trolley to and from Downtown and Joe Aillet Stadium.
Head to Fanbase, Downtown Patton's, or Chessy's for your Gameday gear.
Grab your tailgate cups and Tech themed items from Lauren Roebuck Designs, Heirloom, Fishy Stitches, or The Collective

Post Game

Saturday, Oct. 24

After a Bulldogs win, take the shuttle from the stadium back to downtown to celebrate!
You'll find local restaurants and bars offering drinks, live music, and food.
