3. Treat yourself to Ponchatoulas, a delicious dining experience with New Orleans-style cuisine with a twist on traditional seafood dishes. This local favorite is the perfect spot for a celebratory dinner after a successful tournament.

SEE

1. Immerse yourself in the rich military history of North Louisiana at this fascinating museum. Explore exhibits featuring artifacts and weaponry that have been curated by veterans to provide an educational and engaging experience for the whole family. Be sure to walk around outside to see tanks, planes, and more machinery! Saturday hours are 10:00am-4:00pm.

2. Need some fresh air and outdoor fun? Head to Lincoln Parish Park for a day of recreation. Enjoy scenic walking trails, fishing ponds, playgrounds, and picnic areas, perfect for some pre- or post-game relaxation.

3. Ruston is home to a thriving arts culture. There are murals throughout town painted by artists in partnership with the Ruston Cultural District. Be sure to also keep your eye out for all of the bulldog statues around town that are each uniquely painted by awarded artists, and post lots of pictures with the hashtag #bulldogproject.

EXPERIENCE

1. Check out Excalibur Family Entertainment Center and their 18-hole mini golf course that is packed with fun for every age! Holes 1–9 are fully ADA accessible, so everyone can join in the game. They house a large arcade with all of the classic games, so it is a perfect way to keep things fun and switch up activities after a day at the ballpark!

2. If you’re looking for a fun indoor activities to do with your family, Louisiana Tech's Lambright is the perfect spot! Purchase a day pass, and you can bowl a few rounds or climb up a massive rock wall, play pool or ping pong, and swim in the pool or play basketball on the indoor courts. Your kids will love the chance to be adventurous with all these exciting activity.

3. While the kiddos are at the ballpark, explore the charming streets of Downtown Ruston and discover a variety of boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops. From unique gifts to stylish apparel, you'll find plenty of treasures to take home as souvenirs of your trip. Be sure to stop by the Ruston Farmers Market on Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm.
