Big Creek Trade Days
Lincoln Parish is filled with the finest of local events, and one of their best is Big Creek Trade Days.
If you are not familiar with this monthly event, Big Creek Trade Days is a massive flea market featuring more than 100 indoor and outdoor vendors.
This family-friendly event is located in Dubach which is about 20 minutes northwest of Ruston, and it always occurs the weekend before the 2nd Monday of every month.
Originally the site of Big Creek Trade Days was a deserted poultry farm. However, three friends came together and created a vision to find a way to repurpose this facility. Today, these massive renovated “barns” hold anything and everything you could possibly imagine. Antiques, home décor, glassware, handmade quilts, original artworks, jewelry, handcrafted furniture, homemade jellies – they’ve got it all. Not to mention, they have a ‘man cave’ for the men, trendy boutiques for the ladies, and a playground area for the kiddos. Talk about fun for all ages!
Of course, we can’t forget about the food. Big Creek Trade Days features a multitude of food vendors and food trucks offering delectable options such as seafood baskets, meat pies, po-boys, and funnel cakes. They have an outdoor picnic area with tables and umbrellas along with a spacious covered pavilion to eat and relax under as well.
The next upcoming show dates are January 10-12, and February 7-9. Admission is only $5 per vehicle for the whole weekend, so be sure to load up the entire crew and head over for some family-friendly fun!
