The Sundown Tavern proudly presents Joshua Ray Walker, with special guests, The Waymores.
Texas-bred Walker has been a working musician since the age of 13, and he's been featured on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and sung at the Grand Ole Opry. He's garnered praise from NPR Music and No Depression, and when he's not headlining his own tours, he warms the stage for folks like Charley Crockett & Colter Wall. While he draws from a vast well of influences, ranging from rock to blues to metal and punk, his songs are definitely country, definitely relatable, and definitely good.
The Waymores are our unofficial house band and relatively decent folks. They've recently recorded an album with the legendary Shel Talmy and have been nominated for an Ameripolitan Music award. Supposedly, they live in Georgia.
This is a bona fide get out on Thursday & skip work on Friday show that you could only get from the Sundown.
$10 presale tickets are available til 3/20 available on Eventbrite.
