Guide to Louisiana PEACHtober
The Louisiana Peach Festival is taking on a whole new look this year! We’re swapping peaches for pumpkins in anticipation of the first-ever Louisiana PEACHtober event. Celebrate this year’s modified event with a wide range of entertainment and activities that everyone is sure to enjoy.
Though this year's event will be scaled down to a single day, there will still be concerts, food vendors, hay mazes, a rodeo, tournaments, contests and more. The PEACHtober team is working hard to keep all attendees safe with social distancing and masks.

October 1-23 – Virtual 5K
This year's virtual format allows you to do the race wherever and whenever you want!
October 7-30 – Peach Art Exhibit
View this wide selection of unique pieces all created by local artists. This year’s NCLAC Peach Art Exhibit will be on display in storefront windows of Downtown Ruston shops to create a safe and interactive viewing experience. Baby Photo Contest photos will be displayed at The Children’s Shoppe.
Friday
8 a.m.-5 p.m. – Peach Hunt
Find a mystery card hidden in Ruston and you’ll have the key to claiming one of the $300 cash prizes! Clues will be announced each hour on Ruston Radio Stations The Peach 96.3, and Z107.5. Clues will also be posted on the Louisiana Peach Festival Facebook page until prizes are found.
6 p.m. – Tennis Tournament at Ruston Sports Complex. Pre-registration required. Games will resume Saturday at 8 a.m.
8 p.m. – Peach Rodeo at the Northeast Louisiana Exhibition Center
Come out and watch talented individuals in this year’s rodeo. Admission is $10, $5 children, ages 3 and under free. Gates open at 6 p.m.

8 a.m. – Kids' Fishing Tournament at Lincoln Parish Park
Kids 12 and under can win prizes and more at the Kids’ Fishing Tournament out at the park. It’s perfect for an early family outing and free of charge!

8 a.m.-6 p.m. – MakersPlace Craft Show in Sexton Parking Lot
Shop a variety of original works from local makers and artisans at this new craft market in Downtown Ruston.
8 a.m.-6 p.m. – Hay Maze in Sexton Lot
An activity that’s perfect for the whole family, event goers can test their problem-solving skills as they navigate through this fun hay maze.
9 a.m.-1 p.m. – Ruston Farmers Market
10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Stilt walker in Railroad Park
A festival favorite, don’t miss this display of skillful stiltwalking through the event area.
8 p.m. – Peach Rodeo at the Northeast Louisiana Exhibition Center

Louisiana PEACHtober has no shortage of live music for the day, beginning even earlier this year at 8 a.m.! Come out an enjoy genres ranging from country and blues to jazz and covers. All events below take place on the Railroad Park stage.

Info to Know
Merchandise: Festival shirts, hats, and posters are available for sale at the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. During the festival, all these can be purchased on sight at Park Avenue (across from Railroad Park).
Parking Downtown: All day parking is available throughout downtown Ruston.

- Wear a mask
- Wash or sanitize your hands often
- Concert attendees are encouraged to bring a camp or lawn chair. Phase 3 requires concert attendees to be seated.
