Ruston Lincoln CVB Seeks Visitor Center Coordinator

The Ruston Lincoln Parish Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to announce that they have an open part-time position for a visitors center coordinator. The primary role of the visitors center coordinator is to manage the visitor’s center and provide assistance to those seeking information about Ruston and Lincoln Parish.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer/direct incoming phone calls, requests and inquiries for both the Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Manage the visitor services of the Ruston Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau office:  Maintain all brochures, maps, magazines and other literature for visitors in an organized and efficient manner, keep reception area and boardroom orderly and clutter-free, log inventory of all visitor guides and promotional items.

Provides excellent and friendly customer service to all visitors to the Ruston Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau and Ruston Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Coordinate all communication follow-up with leads received from marketing efforts in a timely and organized manner.

Assists Marketing Director with data entry, reports, and website updates.

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the President/CEO.

Position Requirements:
High school diploma, college degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Outgoing and friendly personality
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
Familiarity with Lincoln Parish and surrounding areas
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to perform routine clerical duties
