The New Music on the Bayou Summer Festival is a chance for contemporary composers to work with professional performers during the rehearsal process and to have their new works performed by professional ensembles and musicians in an intense four-day festival. The festival features concerts at traditional and non-traditional venues. This is a four-day compilation of events located in Ruston, Monroe, and West Monroe. *June 3: Concert- Black Bayou Wildlife Refugee (480 Richland Pl Monroe LA 71203) 11am- 12pm; Concert- Apple Blossom performed by Dr. Brett Dietz at Black Bayou Wildlife Refugee (480 Richland Pl Monroe LA 71203) 1pm- 2pm; and Concert- Strauss Theatre (TICKETS REQUIRED) (1300 Lamy Ln Monroe LA ) 7pm- 8pm
