Kyle Edmiston is the President and CEO of the RLCVB.  In the role, he leads the sales and marketing efforts to promote Ruston and Lincoln Parish as a destination for travel and oversees all administrative functions of the bureau.

Edmiston formerly served as the Director of Alumni Relations at Louisiana Tech University prior to being hired by the RLCVB in 2006. Since his tenure began, Edmiston has overseen the completion of a new state-of the-art visitors center and the development of the youth sports market in the area.

Edmiston received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and he recently earned his Certified Destination Management Executive Certification (CDME) from Destination Marketing International Association, making him the first President and CEO in North Louisiana to do so.  He is also the recipient of the “2010 Rising Star Award” presented at the Southeast Tourism Society in Atlanta, Ga. 

Edmiston currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association after having previously served as Secretary in 2010-11 and Treasurer in 2009-10.  He is a member of the Louisiana Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, having served as Chair in 2009 and Vice Chair in 2008. In 2011, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Tourism Society and he serves on the Membership Committee of Destination Marketing International Association.

Locally, Edmiston was the President of Rotary Club of Lincoln for the 2010-11 year, and he serves on the Board of Directors of the Dixie Center for the Arts, the Lincoln Parish Exhibition Commission, the Eddie G. Robinson Museum Commission, and the Squire Creek Louisiana Peach Festival Steering Committee.

Timothy P. Bush, TMP

Timothy P. Bush is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the RLCVB. He is responsible for implementing the sales and marketing, communication and public relations plans on behalf of the bureau as it relates to the leisure, group tour, reunion, sports and conference and meetings markets.

Prior to his tenure at the Ruston Lincoln CVB,  he began his career in the hospitality and tourism industry as Executive Director of the Beauregard Tourist Commission in DeRidder, LA and, worked as a reporter for the Beauregard Daily News two-and-a-half years.

Bush is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Public Relations. In 2009, he successfully completed his Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) certification from the Southeast Tourism Society in Atlanta, GA. He is a member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association and serves on the board of the Northeast Louisiana Film Commission.
